The Chess Switch Shoulderbag is Gretchen's sporty answer to the classic woven bag. Its body of hand-woven Italian calfskin reveals a lively checkerboard pattern of light and shadow - timeless craftsmanship, reimagined in a modern mid-size format.
Its casual character comes from the shoulder strap with its striking oval buckle: adjustable in length, the bag sits exactly as you like - snugly under the arm or a little lower on the shoulder.
The switch detail: a separate long strap can be inserted into the shoulder strap, effortlessly extending it into a crossbody strap - perfect when you want both hands free while travelling. And because it is so versatile, you can also wear the strap on its own as a belt.
